NICK BRADLEY RACING is delighted to offer shares in this lovely yearling filly by HAVANA GOLD out of DIVINE GRACE.
This filly was purchased by Nick Bradley and George Boughey for 33,000 Guineas from Tattersalls Book 2 October Yearling Sales.
The Book 2 sale was the strongest sale of the year with the likes of Sheikh Mohammed and Hamdam al Maktoum saving their spending pretty much exclusively for the Book 1 and 2 sales.
As a result there was limited opportunities for Nick to pick up bargains but this filly was one which got caught in the Bradley net.

She stands at around 15’3 is a good-looking horse with a good step and an excellent mover. She was prepared for the sale by Stringston Farm which is a Thoroughbred and Dairy farm run by the Pocock family. This filly was noticeably lighter at the sales than the average filly Nick saw. This wouldn’t be ideal but having seen the consignor’s Book 3 fillies they were also lighter than average, and Nick believes that that is due to the consignor’s routine as much as anything. The filly will be given ten weeks conditioning work at Nick’s Glebe Farm before she leaves to join George Boughey to be broken in.
She is a great moving filly and is a half-sister to three stakes horses including the Group 2 winner Electric Beat. She is also a 3/4 sister to the Group 3 and Grade 3 winning filly Treasuring and will have plenty of residual value as a broodmare at the end of her racing career.
Havana Gold was leading first season sire with five Stakes winners in his first season crop including the likes of Havana Grey who is now standing at Whitsbury Stud. He had small subsequent second and third season crops so fell off the radar to some degree, but he has 160 yearlings on the ground in 2020 so should have a massive year in 2021.
She qualifies for the Great British Bonus and being by a British based stallion she will pick up a £20,000 bonus every time she wins one of the nominated races.
