OLBG RACING launched in 2023 with its first horse PICKS LAD going into training with HARRY DERHAM.

PICKS LAD is by WESTLAKE whose sire and dam were both closely related to FRANKEL. He is out of the mare PIC OF THE PADDOCK whose dam won 12 races under rules including 7 chases at distances up to 3m2f.

PICKS LAD is already the winner of two races from only 5 starts.

His first win was a National Hunt flat race on his debut, battling gamely to beat the well fancied Gordon Elliott horse Come On Du Berlais. CLICK *HERE* TO VIEW THE RACE.

On his handicap debut Kim Bailey upped him to 3 miles and again he battled all the way to the line. The stewards judged him to have received two lots of interference and awarded him the race. CLICK *HERE* TO VIEW THE RACE.

HARRY DERHAM is having a great start to his training career with already 14 winners on the board (26/07/23) and an impressive 23% winning strike rate (26/07/23).

After six years as an assistant to Paul Nicholls (3 trainers titles, 3 runners up), he has now built his own talented team at a brand new yard in Upper Lambourn.
