An exciting 2020 colt by Seahenge is offered for sale.

Already named Holme, this strong and attractive February 2020 foal is out of the Zamindar mare, Lafria.

The dam was unraced but has already produced the talented Princess Nessa, who was placed on numerous occasions as a two-year-old last year and won over a mile-and-a-quarter on the AW at Lyon-La Soie in February.

Lafria is a sibling of the stakes-placed Oasis Dream mare Lykea, whilst their dam Alyzea won the Listed Prix des Reve d’Or as a juvenile and was later a narrow third in the Grp-3 Prix Eclipse. Alyzea is in turn a sibling of three black-type earners and out of a Listed-winner, and the extended family featuring Grp-1 winners The Grey Gatsby, Septieme Ciel and Macoumba.

A $750,000 yearling and son of the great Scat Daddy, the covering sire Seahenge won the Grp-2 Champagne Stakes and was third in the Grp-1 Dewhurst Stakes in 2017 when trained by Aidan O’Brien, and now carries out stud duties at Haras De La Neuve in France.

Seahenge is out of a black-type earning mare and is a half-brother to the US Grade-2 winner Max Player and the stakes-placed Urban Bourbon, so a future stallion career was assured once he demonstrated his significant ability on the track.

His first yearlings will be offered at auction this year, and he looks well placed to develop into the latest young sire by Scat Daddy to make an impact in Europe, following on from the likes of No Nay Never, Caravaggio and El Kabeir.

Holme is an outstanding individual with a pedigree of genuine quality. He rates an extremely exciting prospect for next year and beyond; please get in touch for more details.

HOLME is been in training since September.
